Isle of Open Innovation 2012

At the crossroads of the Mediterranean, Malta has always been a hotspot for the mixing and mingling of civilisations and cultures coupled with a rich and extensive maritime history. Amidst sandy beaches and sunshine, Malta now offers a new hotspot for marine ICT innovation.

Isle of Open Innovation is a two-day event, which will take place in October 2012 coinciding with the highlight of the yachting calendar, the Rolex Middlesea Race. With world-renown keynote speakers, the event aims to bring together the biggest names in open innovations and open source community together with the marine industry.

Open innovation, open source, cloud computing, yachting - will be brought together at the Isle of Open Innovation. Isle of Open Innovation is the second event in the series of Isle of Openness conferences. Last year's event was the Isle of Open Source.
